After years, my mother and I visited this café again and we were very disappointed. We were neither greeted nor served politely. The employees were all unmotivated and very unfriendly. The tables were dirty and the floor too. The food also left something to be desired. My dessert was from the previous day, dry and tasteless. We are both Italian and yet the staff shouting in Italian throughout the restaurant really annoyed us. The atmosphere was therefore very unpleasant. Will not visit this restaurant again. It's not what it used to be. Very unfortunate.

Great place in the center of Liestal. Sat on the terrace and enjoyed two of their delicious ice cream coups. As all the waiters are Italian, you feel like being in Italy rather than Switzerland.
