Anjappar Chettinad

This is one of a good restaurants to be in Artesia. Our whole experience is so far good except that one time we had to wait for long as they mixed up our order with another table. I would love to give 5star but couple of things we found can be improved is the garlic naan which was very hard and crispy instead of being soft so not recommended, also in the soup we did not wanted egg but they anyway put it, customisation is not an option I think. Malabar Paratha was really good and also special Anjappar Chicken Masala and Chettinad Chicken Masala as well. On the starter AJP fried chicken full is really good The staff are friendly and they explained everything patiently which is good.

Anjappar Chettinad is one of the good restaurant in Artesia for authentic south Indian food. Taste and flavors are awesome. I have tried Veg biryani, Kurma paratha, uttapam and dosa, which I like a lot. Expect some delay after ordering the food, as per them its time taken to cook fresh food. Service is good and staff is amicable. Have limited parking space.

This place went from 100 to 0 in no time like all other Indian restaurants. Ordered mutton biriyani, it tasted ok, the mutton pieces were very few I mean like 3 may be. And the rice was all broken into pieces. Shrimp biriyani was about average. Do not go to this place with high hopes to eat some good food. It's just another sub par Indian restaurant.

Great south Indian food. We ordered chilli chicken, chicken biryani, mutton biryani all were great. The high light was the desert drink named jigarthanda. It amazing drink. We also ordered halwa, which was also amazing.. overall very good Indian restaurant, good ambience, quality and tasty food

We went on 15th. July 2018 for dinner at 6.30. we sat very fast and took our order and the articles came fast. It was Appam, Nethili fish fry and chicken 65 briyani. Everything was very delicious.. Thanks anjappar for great service

I ordered nattukozhi chicken biryani, fish 65 and idiyappam with Mutton Curry. Everything tasted really good. You can have a beautiful Tamilnadu biryani taste here. If you want biryani, you should visit this place.
