I live in the opposite and often this restaurant. They have a peaceful atmosphere, but more than anything else I love their griller burger (with the speck) and the dal suppe! their Indian food has been adapted to a western palate. it's not hot what a plus is for me because I can't take the heat. the personal is super friendly and it is a clean environment. there is no parking space, but the f train is a few blocks away. they cannot miss the restaurant, it is light blue!
I love this restaurant. The food is so tasty, fresh and nourishing. The people who work there are extremely kind and friendly and really care about creating a special experience for customers. I am a big fan of the soups, curries, salads, dosas and chapatis. They also have fresh juices. The cakes are super special. I have really enjoyed the chocolate cake, Italian cheesecake and apple pie. The prices are amazingly reasonable given the quality of the food.
One of the best vegan restaurant in queens. Very tasty food and staff are very welcoming. Clam and peaceful restaurant. The music selection is flute by Shri chimoy. 1st restaurant I leave very happy also they has a outdoor dining garden.
This was an awesome experience. The selection was great, and the food tasted great! Most importantly the staff were super friendly and kind, probably because they practise meditation with Master Sri Chinmoy. I will be back! Réservez une table maintenant
I ordered some food to try since it’s Indian based food and also vegetarian. But wow their food taste so bad it’s disgusting. They were nice and respectful but NEVER ORDERING ANY FOOD FROM THIS PLACE ITS HORRIBLE
If you want to taste some authentic spicy indian food , this is not the place. But if you wanna look at some funny weird guy’s (sri chinmoy pictures lifting ridiculous weights( not in kilos but tons go for it.
I have not been here for 40 years and it has not changed. ok, there are more vegan options because the world has more vegan options. very friendly place with excellent Indian and other vegan food
I have been coming here with my parents since I was a child. The food is consistently very good. Beautiful music and ambience, kind staff. We even met Mr. Chinmoy here once many years ago. Réservez une table maintenant
Amazing vegan/vegetarian options; my favorite include the avocado on chapati sandwich and neatloaf also the veggie hot dogs are the best you 'll find outside of California!
