I made reservations for 5pm on a Tuesday evening after reading here how busy Anna's can get. By the time I left the restaurant was about a third full. What first grabs your attention is the ambiance. I assume the building was an old church. I think there's certainly a missed opportunity here. They seem too eager to liven up the building with bright, neon colors. It just comes off as gaudy, especially the outside with the cheesy font and blue highlights around the doors and windows. I think they should have leaned into a more gothic approach to decorations/furniture. As for the food, I ordered the lamb. It was cooked to medium as requested. Very flavorful and well-seasoned, with a generous portion of lamb chunks. My waiter (who also seemed to double as host) was very attentive and friendly. And the food came out relatively quickly. Overall I had no issues with Anna's, other than the decor.
