Terrible!!! We waited for 40 minutes and they started seating people that came after us with the same number of people. The older woman came out and called us a few times and then said no, not you guys and continued to say the younger woman messed up everything. When I confronted the girl with the long hair, she didn’t care. No apologies, not even a thank you for waiting. It was basically, we don’t care and if you’re hungry go somewhere else. I had kids with my that were starving and the customer service was the worst experience. If you made a mistake, say you’re sorry and accommodate. I will make sure all the social media groups knows about this as well as all of my clientele. BIG MISTAKE!
Was here a few times and they were ok but the last time was just horrible. My bf ordered steak and eggs and the steak arrived in a pool of water (it was gross) he took a bite and it was so salty that it was inedible so we sent it back! It came back in less water and less salt but the fork mark that he took a bite was still there!!!! They just washed it and brought it back! How disgusting is that? I asked for egg beaters and got regular eggs and when I told the waitress about it she was trying to convince me that's it's not real eggs and egg beaters! Please don't insult my intelligence when I know what it's supposed to taste like! We won't be going back.
This place is a gem. Don't let the name fool you--though Annie's has amazing pancakes, you will be stunned to see the variety of choices on the menu. My family recently moved to the area and we are so thrilled to live so close to Annie's! Not only is the food delicious, the portions are very generous, and the staff are the nicest people you'll ever meet. It's rare nowadays to find such genuinely friendly and personable staff. Can't wait to go back!
I'm glad to see that the Skokie location has reopened! I wanted to show my support by trying out the Annie's Delight, which turned out to be a fantastic healthy option. It features scrambled egg whites with spinach and mushrooms, and comes with either fruit or tomato, as well as your choice of an English muffin or toast, plus juice. The food was prepared perfectly, and the service was outstanding. I will definitely return! Réservez une table maintenant
For breakfast, I highly recommend the Annie's Delight. It's an egg white omelette filled with spinach and mushrooms, served with either fresh fruit or tomato slices, a small juice, and your choice of toast or an English muffin. We also love the silver dollar pancakes, which seem to have grown to the size of regular pancakes. You certainly get good portions for your money. They offer both dine-in and takeout options.
Not a fancy place, but will do if you're looking for breakfast in a pinch. Wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but if I was nearby and was looking for a breakfast joint, it would do. It's rather small, so I imagine it can get crowded at times. Food is okay. It's got that old fashioned, great spoon kind of feel. Servers weren't rude, servings were pretty large, and prices weren't unreasonable.
