After a two hours walk we were surprised finding a "Restaurant" in late sixties style with todays prices. The word service seems not to exist in their vocabulary, the hot food was only warm, the menu was a handwritten board, close to impossible to read and the choice and quality of food was terrible. All this for prices like in a full serviced restaurant. I visited a friend in August and we wanted to have a nice walk in nature, so she brought me to Gumpoldskirchen and asked me if I were ready for the challenge. It was about an hour at our speed. They are fully immersed in nature and it was simply stunning. You and nature. No smell, no noise or something. We reached Anningerhaus and had a coffee and a local ice cream. The staff was very friendly so I can only say good things about this place. Obviously it was just a break. But I would suggest you if you were in the mood of a nice walk.
Toll! Nettes Personal und Gutes Essen große Portionen. Nach einem wunderschönen Aufstieg am Anninger, genüsslich etwas trinken und essen. Egal ob süß oder salzig, es schmeckt hervorragend. Auch die Umgebung ist schön. Die Jubiläumswarte ist ein Muss : Ich empfehle es wärmsten dorthin zu gehen. Perfekt für einen freien Tag.

Beginnend mit der Wanderung ab Bhf. Guntramsdorf /Thallern, entlang der Anningerstrasse bis zur Weinstrasse, dann auf der anderen Seite den Waldweg bis zum Richardhaus, dann Golfplatz, alles gekennzeichnet! Der Aufstieg durch den Wald war aber fuer mich nicht gerade leicht
Einfacher Aufstieg von Hinterbrühl auf der Forststrasse direkt zum Schutzhaus. Gut zu speisen bei freundlicher schneller Bedienung. Zur Jubiläumswarte sind es max. 10 Minuten. Tolle Aussicht in jede Himmelsrichtung. Auch mit dem Fahrrad möglich zu erreichen.
Nach einem sehr spannenden Aufstieg durch den Siebenbrunnengraben erhält man hier vorzügliche Gerichte wie Schwammerlsauce mit Semmelknödel und das beste Surschnitzel. Im schattigen Gastgarten kann man ausgiebig rasten und sich stärken für den Rückweg.
Perfekt gelegen um in 1-2 Stunden von Mödling aus erreicht werden zu können. Hervorragendes Essen mit großen Portionen und superfreundliche Wirtsleute, somit eine perfekte Raststätte um das Anningergebiet zu erwandern oder mit dem MTB zu befahren.

wirklich gutes Essen, gut organisierter Service. Ofenkartoffel mit Gemüse und Bärlauch Töpfen, gute Idee! Alles sauber was will man mehr. Wir haben uns dort bei einer Wanderung gelabt
