My mom wanted to go here for lunch. I was reluctant because I was expecting their food to be too generic. In my experience, and I worked at a few different pizzerias and pizza has always been one of my favorites, places like this use the same ingredients and put out the same food. I was wrong. Everything was perfect! They have a great variety of pizza, toppings, dinners and sandwiches. My mom ordered the Saltimbocca. This is usually my fathers go to dish, and he 'd defiantly let me know what he thinks about. He 's ordered this from here before and said it was really good, but not the best. These guys are great. Let me sample slices in a pie-pourri when I didn 't want to commit to one type and didn 't charge extra. Shh, don 't tell anyone. It was the end of the day and they didn 't want to waste it. Hopefully they 're not mad I 'm telling this. I thought it was great customer service and a way to allow a customer to experience their food. Another time they allowed me to use a coupon when I forgot it (it was valid, I brought it in the next day). Always friendly. Quality pizza.
Food is very good. For a pizza place they deserve 5 stars for the food .However, the just can't deliver an order that is correct. 3 orders in 3 weeks and each one was either slightly wrong or missing something. Will continue to order from them as their Sicilian pizza and special salad are the best. However I am prepared, and you should also be, for the order to be not 100% correct.
I've visited a few other Anthony Franco's Pizza locations, and I finally had the chance to try this one. It did not disappoint! The food was fantastic, the prices were reasonable, and the staff was friendly. The location is great, and the dining area was clean. It's like enjoying fine dining at an affordable pizza place. Anthony Franco's pizza is amazing! I've tried the white, plain, veggie, and grandma pizzas, and they're all fantastic. I really enjoy their pizza as well as their other dishes. You can't make a bad choice here. The eggplant parmesan, chicken parmesan, and meatballs are just delicious. I could keep raving about it!
The food is here is very good. During the Covid scenario, in an area that if full of Pizza Shops and Italian Restaurants, AF's is a standout from the crowd. If you are looking for consistent quality, large portions and very reasonable prices you won't find a better choice in Northwest Bergen County.
