For a little over two years, Saverio Castellana has been leading Antica Roma along the main road with his wife. He swings in the kitchen the spoon and pots, SIE is responsible for the service. I'll come by every day if I want to eat in peace, because there's never anything going on here. Ok, the location is now perhaps suboptimal, and you do not know that the restaurant on the back has a nice terrace, but on the other hand enough time would have passed to establish itself. Anyway, I was here for a quick lunch tonight. The guest room is divided by a wall with round arch here the table with the daily dishes. When the boss greeted me, I asked if I could sit in the back part, what you were right...

Having had German the night before and knowing we were having German that night we decided to give another Italian place a try in downtown Garmisch. We had a table that over looked the pedestrian walking area of the downtown which was very nice. You could also see the mountains (non ski) around Garmisch. The waiter was pleasant, but the waitress we thought was rude. We tried a salad and calzone. If the calzone was any indication the pizza must be very good. The salad was nice and fresh also. We never got a chance to consider a dessert as once the waiter cleared the plates the waitress quickly brought the check without asking if we wanted coffee or dessert, we found this very rude and inconsi...

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Antica Roma. We had not planned to go to an Italian restaurant in our visit to Bavaria, but it was an excellent choice. The service was excellent, friendly, and fast...made you feel very welcome and that they were glad you came. The menu was excellent with many choices, and the prices were quite reasonable. When the food came, we were all surprised at the size of the portions...we certainly would not go away hungry! The food was excellent also...great flavor, and excellent presentation! The restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere offered a classy bit of Italy here in Bavaria. We would gladly go back again!

We just happened on this restaurant on a late Sunday evening walking through the pedestrian zone in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Everything we ordered, including the salad, minestrone, pizza, and pasta, rivaled anything we had ever eaten in Italy. The waiter/bartender was extremely friendly and accommodating to my family (we had two small children with us). Prices were very reasonable and the portion sizes were good. Every time we go to Garmisch we eat here. The food is excellent and with a window table you can look out over the pedestrian zone. The view is especially beautiful during winter time. The pizza crusts are thin and crispy, not soggy in the middle like other restaurants. Try it you will like it!

It was really disappointing the food , we where eating a caprese ant the tomatoes where off , for 8€!!! , as second I had a pasta with eggplant and the sauce wast tasting like off as well, and the eggplant was raw , I must say the prices are really high for such a bad quality.

After we were ignored at the Colloseo we decided to walk up to Antica Roma. We made a wise choice. They were very accomodating and their pizza, and tiramisu were delicious.

There were two things to celebrate this August Week for me, on the one hand, in a small, fine Italian wine bar with a culinary orgy (Critique hopefully follows soon celebrated birthday, on the other hand something very positive in the professional. External view The guest room was filled in about two thirds when we arrived, a well-kept lady in the best years welcomed us professionally and showed us on our reserved four table, in the service well-kept ladies in well-kept evening wardrobes. At the table full of satisfaction, Madame gave a Caesar salad with goat cheese and, above all, Mr Obacht! was “damaged” by his “Amazing Fries” as a supplement to the pig farm, which, thanks to fine maize, presented themselves with a particularly crispy baking and – I tried – were really very successful. Remembered something about the so popular triple roasted chips in the UK in recent years, thick, triple roasted large pommes that are very popular for steak. #Dessert Sven's Friesentorte – 11 € Sven's Friesentorte Actually, I wanted to order something else because of the deppenapostrophe for the protest, but this court spoke to me most about the three possibilities in dessert at a great distance. Sven Karge, formerly in the Sylter Gogärtchen as a chef, has reinterpreted the pie classic from his old professional house. A proudly presented a small selection, I chose the Marillen variant and was thrilled by the purity and intensity of the brand, a real top product without question. To the cups! For this purpose, Macarons from the in-house terrace decorated us with 2 € pieces, in this craft quality, also these are worth a photo: Macaron, at the latest I could roll through the room, my body feeling fluctuated between the medical ball and Barbapapa. Payment by EC card went smoothly, routinely the credit was separated and we received two correct invoices. After a friendly adoption, the 4eck left us in the lukewarm summer night, good nightwife and care! and thanks for the beautiful evening. The constellation we saw on the star-clear sky on the way back to our beloved little hotel rounded off the evening whether the 4eck will ever be able to decorate with this is still written in the same way. #For a long time I haded, 3.5 stars for the kitchen would be purely subjectively safe, but I come to just about 4 stars for the kitchen due to the cheap menu price of 45 euros for the three courses and the otherwise fair prices. High-class regional products manufactured at a high level, it is no longer a problem in Garmisch to spend more money for less. The service really offered no reason to complain, knowledgeable, efficient, friendly. The reaction to my question about the salad for Madame remained particularly positive, absolutely exemplary, 5 stars. The ambience appealing, a little crampy with full guest room, well liked the open kitchen and the light concept, less well the huge flatscreen with continuous slideshow, in a total of 4 stars. Cleanliness quasi clinical, 5 stars. I see the price-performance ratio for almost perfect 4.5 stars, the total bill was only 226 euros for the entire table, even if my accompaniment had also fed a menu, it would have been just over 250, very fair!
