Do not waste your time or money here. The food was disgusting. Nothing was fresh. We should have known when there was no one else in there on a Friday night, but the menu read well. We quickly realized that nothing was fresh and that the peppers, tuna, asparagus were all canned. When the hake fish came out, we were alarmed. It was not fresh. The “Roma” style hake came out and it was fried and served with French fries. You’d think it’s hard to mess up fried fish and fried but you’d be wrong. It was mushy and tasted like frozen food. DO NOT GO HERE! Maybe the most uninspiring, lazy, awful food I have ever had. Most ingredients come from a can. Red peppers...canned, olives..pre pitted and canned, asparagus...canned! Oxtail was boil-in-bag with a gravy that was also store bought or from a powder. Looked terrible, tasted just as bad. After a few apps, the mains arrived and I refused it. You are also charged for rock hard bread that is on the table when you arrive that you didn't ask for. Garbage. Looked like hospital food. Went on a Friday night and we were the only table the whole night...no wonder. Oh, and the flies constantly buzzing around the table, ugh... We almost didn't go in because the place seemed very formal but very glad we did. The service was exceptional and very friendly, not something you can find as often in Madrid Price per person: €10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
