"I've never actually been here. I am just goving five stars for the quality of the reataurant owner's responses to the comments on here. Funny as hell. Bravo. Actually I was here in December with a big party. We had 7 fondues and they were great. The wine was good, the deserts were really good. But the comments from the reataurant owner are even better. Six stars."

Not a great experience we cannot recommend this restaurant. We arrived to celebrate a special birthday having booked a table for 4 we were asked to wait while our table was prepared. Not a problem with that except 4 people came in after us who hadn't booked and were taken straight to a table. Starters arrived, staff noticed 2 of us were sharing a salad and presented a 2nd plate straight away. One guest had charcuterie, very enjoyable. 2 main courses of duck arrived. We had to start eating them as they were getting cold and had to chase up the other 2 meals. Having asked for no meat with the berthold for a vegetarian it came with full charcuterie. One of the duck dishes was inedible, the other was mediocre. At that point we decided we had had enough and didn't bother with dessert or coffee. We had to chase 2 waiters/waitresses to take payment and we refused to pay for the inedible duck meal. we wont be returning and cannot recommend the place to guests who stay in our apartment. Hugely disappointing.

We visited this restaurant on our chalet staff’s night off. Sadly we were disappointed by our meal and particularly angry that we were served raw chicken. The person that received the raw chicken was pregnant also. This caused a great deal of distress and we had to leave quite abruptly. I spoke to the staff who apologised and said they would take it off the bill (it did appear on the bill after we sent it back! I tried to explain how unacceptable it was to serve raw chicken but this didn’t seem to be understood or taken seriously. I ordered the raclette with a friend which I was really looking forward to. Whenever I’ve ordered this before you get a large wheel of cheese and you eat what you want. We were served a small wedge which was too small to stay together and just fell apart. Some boiled potatoes, ham and salad all for the grand total of 50e also for two! We went to this restaurant last year and it was quite enjoyable. This year fell well below par sadly.

The place is cosy, but the details are a bit lacking (fake flowers; dirty crockery and uncomfortable seats). We wanted a traditional fondue, and it was delicious, but small (particularly, considering its price: 22€ per head). We ordered a plate of charcuterie, and it was of a terrible quality. The salad was great, and the wine too, although highly overpriced. The worst of all, the insistence of the waiters for us to finish our plates and leave, making us feel all the time in a hurry. Not ideal when you are celebrating your anniversary. Particularly, considering we finished dining at 21:30... Everything was very expensive and didn't correspond with the quality. A real shame...

Visited last night as Ireland were beating France in the final minute of the rugby. Our party of 8 was picked up by the restaurant people carrier at 1915 as arranged. A couple of our party started with cocktails and the others had beer. Good range of dishes with some local specialities. We had charcuterie, tuna carpaccio, steak tartare, beef carpaccio, magret du canard with home made ice creams or Choux buns to finish. All was good standard and enjoyed by all washed down with good wine. Perhaps a little pricy but in line with expectations in a French resort. Restaurant took us home at 10.30 after an enjoyable evening.
