Went here while visiting a friend who has a holiday home in Mollina. Ordered our drinks, and without being asked, a large piece of potato and onionTortilla appeared in front of my friend (who is vegetarian) and I was presented with a plate of grilled liver....and it was to die for!! Not sure what other tapas are on offer (although my friend did order another drink and got an asparagus Tortilla with that) but if they are all as good as the ones we had, they will be fantastic. Antonio is lovely, and appreciated my attempt to converse with him in Spanish. Although my friend hasn't been there that often, he remembered, without being reminded, that she was vegetarian....that in my mind is an exce...
What can you say about Antonio's... If you didn't know it was there you would miss it as there is no signage. Across the road from the church. Once you do find it and if he is open don't be put off by the interior. It's not a restaurant, more a bar serving tapas. You don't have to ask for tapas, he will always make them fresh for you. His liver tapas are to die for... occasionally you may find him fast asleep behind the bar especially during hot afternoons. If he is asleep cough loudly... he may wake up. Sweet funny guy when you get to know him.
Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Oliva Ha sido mi iglesia desde que llegué a Mollina en 2013 y desde el primer día me dieron la bienvenida. Ahora estoy en casa con los feligreses amigables que reconocerme con la cabeza en silenciosas buenas dias mientras me pasan de camino a sus bancos cada vez que vamos a la iglesia. Dios bendiga al padre Daniel y a todos los fieles.
