The restaurant was quite busy, creating a vibrant atmosphere. As soon as we entered the pub, a gentleman at the door waved at us; I got the impression that he was a regular. I appreciated that he acknowledged me each time he glanced my way. It seemed the staff were accustomed to dealing with a steady stream of customers. Our food arrived promptly, and the employees were not only hardworking but also very friendly. The dishes were exceptionally delicious, and the menu offered a wide variety of options to choose from.

I had a wonderfully pleasant three-day stay to ring in the New Year, and the Krone hotel served as the perfect base for exploring the local history and enjoying numerous scenic walks. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The restaurant and bar areas were beautiful, and the staff was exceptionally helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent, well-presented, and always served with a smile. Overall, it was a very relaxing and enjoyable getaway. Thank you!

The room was beautiful and very clean, with excellent facilities. The atmosphere was charming and inviting. The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient. The breakfast was delightful. Although we haven't had dinner here, the dishes we saw looked fantastic! Overall, it was a lovely short getaway in a picturesque small town.

Lovely lunch here with some old friends who recommended The Crown and glad they did. Food and service outstanding as were the beers/ciders on offer. Many thanks to the very pleasant waiter who made it a great time and kindly took a photo of the four of us. We will visit you again when next down from Woking. Réservez une table maintenant

Loved this place. Sat outside for a drink and didn't think we'd get chance to eat here. However we met an amazingly friendly member of staff (Trina) who sorted a table for us. Had a fabulous meal and a really good night. Highly recommend this place and Trina is a real asset to your company

very helpful and courteous staff, very friendly. I had fish and chips that were delicious. a special mention of the manager, who told us about the production of hot fuzz and the history of the fountains and the crowns pub itself.

Really friendly pub, staff were great. Had pork loin roast this was fab and with 2 roasts the dog got a free one. Will definitely be visiting again would highly recommend. The area and walks are beautiful

Lovely old historical hotel with lots of idiosyncrasies. We had lovely evening meal and breakfast. Staff were particularly nice and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend. Réservez une table maintenant
