We booked a table for 8 at 4pm so we'd have plenty of time to finish our meal and drinks before going to the theatre. By 5:30 they had given us the bill before our desserts arrived, and were clearing the table of not quite finished drinks, trying to get us out quickly. It was very busy and they didn't have enough tables for people that had come in with a booking, however if they are only going to book a table for a set time that should have been communicated at the time of booking. Tables are very close together making movement difficult and the music was quite loud, but the food was fantastic. One of the staff members was fantastic though. The place was rammed on a Tuesday night which meant that service took a while, but it was friendly and accommodating. Once we ordered, food came out pretty quick despite it being busy. The food is average, nothing to rave on about like so many people here. I’d recommend the goats cheese starter for sure. The mains dishes are plentiful but if you’re after elegance, you might want to head somewhere else. Oh, and it’s dirt cheap! First time visit with a friend for food. It certainly won’t be the last! The food was amazing and the service was faultless. What a great experience from beginning to end. You’ll struggle to find tastier food, that’s presented as beautifully anywhere near as good as this place. The owner and all staff really made you feel at home and special. Absolutely faultless! I’m fussy and couldn’t find fault.
