I asked our waiter, M, if he could prioritize my children’s meals since I knew they usually serve everything at once. As I expected, my steak arrived cold and dry, along with the cold mashed potatoes. My daughter’s hamburger was also cold. M apologized and explained that even though the restaurant wasn’t busy, the kitchen was focused on takeout orders, which caused the long wait.
I requested to have my steak sent back, and it took another 10 minutes for them to simply put the same piece back on the grill to warm it up. I was really let down by my experience. This was the first time I encountered such a terrible steak. I ordered it medium, but what I received was a thin, well-done, chewy piece that was more like shoe leather. It felt as though, because I opted for delivery and couldn't return it, I was given a lower-quality steak. Furthermore, I ordered loaded mashed potatoes with bacon, butter, and cheese, but instead, I ended up with just bacon, cheese, and sour cream—no butter at all.
I'm really disappointed with how our appetizers were served separately from our main courses, only for the food to end up piled on top of the appetizers anyway. Even after bringing it to the staff's attention, nothing improved. The supervisor or manager stopped by to see if we needed anything, and my son requested more dressing for his salad, but she never came back. I won't be returning to this restaurant; the service is simply unacceptable.
I ordered the chicken and broccoli Alfredo, and while the chicken was a bit salty, it was juicy and packed with flavor. The broccoli and pasta were cooked to perfection. The portion was generous enough that I had leftovers for a snack the next day. The breadsticks were definitely a standout; they were absolutely delicious! I also received some extra sauce on the side in a nicely sized container, although I didn't end up using it.

My meal was just average this time. I’ll update my review if things improve on my next visit. Yes, their prices have increased, and they don't seem to offer many lunch specials anymore. I've also been experiencing issues with their app lately. The curbside pickup would be much better if the staff wasn't too preoccupied chatting to notice that a car was waiting for food.
I dined at this restaurant for dinner following a graduation celebration, but I left feeling quite disappointed. When I ordered my drink, I specifically requested the waitress to make it extra sweet, as that’s my preference.
The service was outstanding—fast and friendly—and the prices were quite reasonable for three adults. The only downside was a difficult customer who was making things challenging for the bartender.
Applebee's consistently impresses! Their steak is cooked exactly to my liking and seasoned wonderfully. Both the steak and the sides are absolutely delicious! I really hope they keep this up!
