I absolutely love the food at Applebee's. I visit the Shirley location several times a year from Lindenhurst. Every time I go to Applebee's, I have one request - to have my salad chopped into small pieces. During a recent visit to the Shirley Applebee's with a friend for dinner, the waiter was fantastic and friendly. The manager even came to our table to ensure everything was okay. I mentioned my salad request and he personally chopped it himself due to the busy night. We had informed the waiter that we needed a quiet spot as it was our final meeting before my friend left New York. My wife and I decided to grab a quick dinner. I ordered the tomato soup and strawberry chicken salad, while my wife went for the salmon on a Caesar salad. Both salads were delicious and served promptly.
