Applebee's Grill

It'll be a long one, apology in advance. I usually like to go to Applebee's and it's always my way to a late evening dinner. That was the worst experience I had with every Applebee. Got in and the whole staff seemed to have disappeared, waited 5 minutes until an employee finally showed up and sat down. We meet right next to a large table (no social distance). Then we waited 7 minutes for the waitress to confirm our presence and take over our orders. I ordered the three cheese paste, for some reason it had bacon in it, and no sauce (not untypical in previous experiences). It took about ten minutes to tie the waitress and get her attention so I could get some extra Alfredo sauce. Ten minutes later she seemed to have forgotten the sauce after she finally got her attention, she brought a sauce. It wasn't Alfredo sauce, but I realized this after I had poured it on my food, it seemed to be bacon gravy in my opinion. We waited for about ten minutes while we were unsuccessfully trying to fly them down before I just went to the bar to talk to someone. Apparently they used the bacon sauce as a substitute for the Alfredo because they were out, completely reasonable, but they did not mention that if I ordered and I knew I would not have ordered it first. Overall experience was pretty bad. The waitress never came to check us, once all the time we were there, as she seemed to be preoccupied with her boyfriend, or whoever she was, spent her time tending. And the staff seemed less than helpful. I didn't want to make a scene so we paid and left. Definitely will not go back to this place.

I don't want to come back. I have the appetizer sampler and a 6oz sirloin. Steak came about 2 minutes after the appetizer. The server asked me what sauce I wanted on my boneless wings, but never asked how I wanted to cook my steak. He only put it in for medium good (always it was overcooked, probably because it was wafer-thin). The second steak that came out was much thicker, but grizzly and actually undercooked. The potatoes were old and dry, and the engraving served with them was NOT heavy! It was a cup of A1 sauce. Never hears that A1 is automatically served with a steak. If a steak is correctly seasoned, it should not need A1. The cheese sticks and boneless wings were already cold. No acidic cream was served with the chicken quesadilla, but blue cheese and ranch both came with the appetizer. Whoever controlled the music played terrible music. Like it came from a boombox directly from the 80s. They use a machine at the table for payment. That's okay, but I felt like I was in a shutdown gas station because, although it specifically asked if I wanted a reception, it still wasn't printed, so I had to ask the server. The worst part: The reason I came here is that it is a sports bar and barbecue and I wanted to watch the MLB playoffs while I was eating. No single screen has been tuned to the game. I had to ask specifically and the server who claims to be a Red Sox fan looked surprised that I wanted to see it. And one of the customers actually asked him what was with him to change all channels. Yeah, he just changed two.

Amazing service. The food was well priced and tasted delicious. The menu has a large variety to choose from. Waiter was very welcoming and friendly. Definitely will be coming back in the future.

My friend and I eat today and we came into contact with the most amazing server I think her name was Sierra she was friendly and pleasant she was a great pleasure and the food was also great.

Great place! A very nice man from Kenya Steve! He was great to speak especially when I told him I visited his country. Greeting Steve for me!
