Our experience at the restaurant started off well as we received our drinks and placed our order for the 2 for $30.00 deal with a salad. However, despite the waitress saying our food would be ready shortly on two occasions and even bringing us a second cup of tea (indicating how long we had been waiting), after 30 minutes we still had not received our food, not even the salad. Our waitress seemed to have disappeared and when we informed a nearby busboy about the situation, he just looked at us blankly. My boyfriend and I recently visited this location instead of the one in Dearborn, and I must say we will definitely be coming back to this location from now on!! Firstly, the hosts at the door were extremely friendly! Tori made sure we were welcomed and Serenity ensured we had a great seat at the bar for my boyfriend to watch the game. Our server, Alivia, was absolutely delightful! She engaged in pleasant conversation and gave us some fantastic recommendations! This was the worst dining experience ever. It seems like there is new management because I have never had issues with this Applebee's before. We ordered our food from DoorDash and when it arrived, we noticed that we were missing a whole entree, some sauces, and a soup. We called to express our disappointment and they offered to replace the missing items if we returned to the restaurant. When we picked up the new items, they were already cold. The host, Tori, was incredibly friendly and attentive! She was very accommodating when I requested a booth and we had a pleasant chat for about 5 minutes with great conversation.
