Horrible experience right from the start. Arrived there at 4pm and the place was basically empty. Walked in and waited at the front for almost 5 minutes before someone came to seat us. Told the waiter we were ready to place our order as soon as he came by. He then brought our waters with lemon and I requested a packet of equal when he had a chance. Appetizer came out fairly quick....the boneless chicken was mostly breading and hard, The spinach dip was ice cold, quesidia was luke warm as well as the mozzie sticks. I went to this restaurant to meet up with a friend I hadn't seen in months. We sat down and ordered $5 seltzer drinks. The server tried to convince us to order margaritas instead, but we declined and stuck with our original order. After waiting for 10 minutes without our drinks arriving, the server came back and asked if we wanted to place a food order. We gave our order, but then the server returned 10 minutes later to inform us that we couldn't be served any alcohol. When I asked why, the server simply said that the manager had made the decision. Went to dinner on Saturday night with my Wife and Daughter. My food was good. Daughter got a cheeseburger with a green foreign substance in it. WIfe's pasta was firm and dry. Waitress was told and she aplogized. Unfortunately, she didn't bring over the Manager or ask if I wanted to see him or her.Everyone's experience will be different. We've had good experiences in the past and will probably try one more time. Sadly, it seems that good customer service is hard to find in many businesses these days.
I went to a happy hour with some friends and had a great experience. We got 2 drinks and two large orders of wings for just $22. Fraugrace assisted me and checked my ID, which I appreciated. She made sure I had a non-alcoholic option and made me feel youthful. Her customer service was outstanding and her personality was top-notch. I think Mrs. Grace deserves a raise or promotion in the training department. She treated us like family, which made a big difference in our experience.

Eek. Food wasn't horrible (for them anyway) the service was. To be fair the waitperson was very apologetic, but despite apologizing over and over again, certain items took forever to come to the table. One was a dessert. A scoop of ice cream and a corner of a brownie. And there was an expectation to pay the bill before all the food arrived. Well I guess it's hard to find wait staff these days....
I like applebee. but I went there specifically to apply the Irresist-a-Bowls they advertise on TV. I ordered the broccoli mac and cheese bowl. it was delicious, but not what I expected. a bowl of pasta and brokkoli with a few melted cheeses. and the cheeses covered not all pasta. I thought they might have filled it with brothcrumbs or speck. at least I could have done home.
Always a good time and a good meal at Applebee's and this was no exception. Went here twice on consecutive days because one of the few places open late; friendly bartender and waitstaff, good pacing, good food. Will come back here again. Plenty of parking and a traffic light at the entrance/exit means easy access to main road. Recommended.
I placed a delivery order and it was left at the bottom of my stairs without any notification. I had to wait outside for 20 minutes in 30-degree weather without knowing my order had arrived. The supervisor was unhelpful and unsure of who delivered my order, blaming it on DoorDash. This was incredibly frustrating and unacceptable.

On 5/3/23 at 9pm in Lake Grove, I ordered two appetizers at the restaurant. The Classic Combo included plated wings, Mozzarella sticks, and Queensadillas with Spinach Artichoke Dip.
The service at the restaurant was excellent, with attentive staff and delicious food.
