one of the worst experiences i’ve had at this location. we were sat for over and hour and it took half of our group 30 minutes to get their food, after we had already finished ours. carmen dilly dallied at the register chatting with coworkers and joked with our table about the food not being out yet. he went back to the kitchen and magically the food was ready and it was all cold. it was obviously sitting out for an extended period of time but he was too busy chatting to bring it out. he was very inattentive, didn’t even give napkins or cutlery until we asked for it. i’d get it if he was running around busy but he was very obviously leisuring around the restaurant. extremely annoying.
Wow. I've been here many times, but this visit was the absolute worst. The table was sticky, and there were no plates or silverware available. Our drinks took ten minutes to arrive, accompanied by excuses, and the nachos were ice cold. The icing on the cake? They ran out of silverware, so we were given plastic utensils instead. The final straw was the manager's indifference to our departure—a sarcastic "sorry" was all we got. I won't be returning unless there's a serious management overhaul. Be cautious if you decide to go!
This Applebee's was surprisingly enjoyable. Just keep your expectations in check. I wouldn’t recommend ordering any cocktails from the menu, as they might upset your stomach if you're over 25. However, we ordered vanilla vodka with Diet Coke, and it was just right. The bartender was friendly and welcoming. The food was also quite decent. I anticipated the shrimp in my shrimp bowl to be dry, but they turned out to be surprisingly juicy. Overall, it's a great spot to relax before or after a movie.
My family and I had to wait over one hour for a set up for 20 people but it was okay because the Applebee's in Somerdale only had 2 servers on on Easter Day. So we understood the Manger and Hostees was very nice and the food was good the sever was friendly and kind. We all enjoyed our meal I have no complaints at this time.
Terrible. How did we get here? The team forgot 3/4 of my order, when I asked to speak to manager (Emma) she basically made it seem like it may have been my mistake that I only received a 1/4 of my order. Thieves (Applebees), Emma's managerial attributes...absolutely horrendous. Get it together out there.
Very prompt service and very tasty! My favorite is the double crunch wings (chose your sauce) and the chicken Wonton Tacos! The proportions are very generous and their menu is not expensive! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained.
