Originally gave this place 5 stars, but clearly management care more for profit than customers. Scrambled eggs toast Chorizo went from £8 to £13 overnight and no change to what you get. Spanish breakfast gone £11-£16 and ingredients simplified, get better one from cafe for half the price. Was a regular here every Saturday for lunch. The chef and staff are lovely and I feel so sorry for them. Was the meal we looked forward to each week. I understand prices have to rise, but 50% in one day, crazy. £10 for a basic scrambled eggs on toast... Maybe they thought it had gold leaf on it? No idea. Soo unfortunate and disappointing .
During my visit to London, I had the pleasure of dining at The Appleyard, which was so enjoyable that I returned a week later. I particularly enjoyed sitting at the high tables near the bar, where I could relax and enjoy good music, excellent wine, and delicious food. I will definitely be returning as every dish I tried from the menu was fantastic and the staff were incredibly welcoming. Overall, I rate the food, service, and atmosphere at The Appleyard a perfect 5 out of 5.
The food at this restaurant is excellent, and the staff is both cheerful and attentive, providing top-notch service. The chefs are also friendly and upbeat. Overall, it was a first-class experience. I just wish I lived closer so I could dine here at least twice a month. Special thanks to Cameron for helping us with the wine selection! Service: Dine-in.
Gotta be honest, food was bland bland bland and stupid expensive Cheese on toast would have hit the spot and the £100 saving would have been welcome ! We had a lovely meal to celebrate a birthday, party of ten. The food was delicious, the service was great and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Will definitely be back soon. Thank you for a lovely evening.
