Apte - Réservation de table

It seems like you're being deceived. Apte is much larger on the inside than it appears from Heidelberger road. I was pleasantly surprised to discover a back area and parking lot behind the restaurant, which is very convenient. The decor is simple yet tasteful, with well-spaced tables. However, my experience was slightly marred by a patron loudly conducting a business call on speakerphone, which I found to be off-putting and rude. While the long black coffee was too bitter for my taste, I appreciated the variety of specialties on the menu and found the service to be polite and efficient. I will consider giving this place another try in the future, as I believe it has the potential to improve.

A lovely spot to enjoy a meal with friends. Hidden from the street frontage, walk through the cafe to a lovely outdoor area (it's undercover too! . The all day breakfast menu offers a good variety of choices. For those with a sweet tooth, there is...a delicious selection of cakes and slices. The carrot cake muffin was superb! No need to park on the busy main road, there is a carpark out the back!

As first time Melbourne visitors, we have been delighted by the food. We had lunch yesterday at a little cafe called Apte and it was really good. The menu was modern and clean and green, and the presentation as outstanding. The Ricotta Hotcake was like...a beautiful garden. Well done to the owners. PS pet friendly too. Very important. Our dog likes to dine out too!

tasty eating best describes our visit. our four-headed party was unanimous for this incredible local caffe. we had the risotto with sage, fennel, mushrooms, ham and parmesan, crushed avocado, mushrooms, feta and fried eggs and eggs with drawn pork. was excellent and my son loved the beer-seated. I had the Chef's special and it felt like I was a judge on MKR as it looked great and tasted just as good. It was chorizo, chilli, avocado (patties) with onions and a fab bbq sauce and red slaw, delicious! The people I went...there with all raved about their meals as well. This was for lunch.

Apte is great. The staff are really lovely and accommodating, the food is always good with interesting specials, and the coffee [with Bonsoy] is fantastic. It gets busy sometimes but they're always really great at getting you a table either inside or in the...courtyard.

Apte is a fantastic cafe with ample space both inside and outside. The service is very friendly and welcoming. I had a delicious long black coffee and a generous egg and bacon sandwich, which were both served promptly with a smile.

The breakfast at this restaurant is well-cooked and reasonably priced. The service is quick, though it could be better. The restaurant was busier earlier in the week but now seems half-empty on weekends, which is a bit confusing. Réservez une table maintenant

My regular for coffee breakfast and lunch. Great place for a business meeting, or not so quiet thinking session. Always busy and friendly.

An oasis in the desert that is Heidelberg road, Apte make fabulous coffee and are super close to the river.
