I booked in summer for a hen party meal for in March (we are not local and relied on trip advisor reviews to inform my choice). A week beforehand I was ask to submit preorders, which I did via email. There was...confusion and no response initially from Aqua but once they’d asked me to resend the preorders on a new email thread it was fine. When we arrived, our table was in the left in a cubby hole on an oval table- very social but bench seat in awful condition and desperate need of repair. I visited this restaurant on a Monday morning without a reservation and found it to be empty. At first, we weren't sure if it was open, but we were greeted by a beautiful girl named Chloe. The restaurant is located in a beautiful old church, which added to the charm of our visit. The breakfast we had was amazing - my partner had eggs florentine and I had eggs pomodoro, which was the best thing I have ever eaten. The eggs were perfectly cooked and topped with delicious speck. The coffee was also excellent. Chloe was great and recommended the Bath skyline walk to us. Overall, I highly recommend this place - it was definitely the best breakfast I've had in Bath.
This restaurant reminds me of all that is Mediterranean. the service was excellent, Emily was our main provider and when it was needed all the staff made our meal perfect due to the friendly and professional banter , they answered any questions we had esp...as one had a nut allergy. The food , superb is all I can say. We all had a chicken dish and it was juicy and cooked to perfection although mine looked like an ostrich as it was soo big. We came here for a birthday meal during a weekend in Bath. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and shown to our table, which was in the middle of the dining area near the entrance. It felt a bit crowded with employees and customers constantly passing by. The restaurant seemed busy but not completely full, with mainly larger groups of hen parties. The service was decent and the food was generally good, but the duck dish we ordered had a bone in the middle of the shredded duck meat. The staff was friendly but appeared rushed. I had a meal for my daughter. not before. it was recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed. it was absolutely beautiful. eating was very delicious, perfectly cooked. very accommodating. the staff was nice and helpful. did not have to bottle water after water on the table and constantly refilled, especially when it was a hot evening. nothing was too much annoyed. in any case recommend everyone. a great evening to remember. thanks to all staff in front of the house and behind the scenes xxx
This is by far the best restaurant I have ever been to. I ordered the avocado and fried eggs on a toasted muffin, and it was absolutely phenomenal. My partner had the Pomodoro eggs and devoured them in seconds. We were very happy that we chose to come here for brunch. The staff was very friendly, especially Chloe who made us feel very welcome. The chef did an excellent job as well. We cannot wait to come back for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Thank you once again for a great dining experience.
