A beautifully presented, inviting restaurant that stands out along side numerous others on the harbour side of Cala Bosh. During our weeks stay, we ate here twice. For us it was the most expensive meals of our stay, but the quality of the food we had reflected that. The Prawn Cocktail was beautifully fresh crisp with the addition of paper thin slices of apple sweet segments of orange complimenting the tender fresh prawns. The Monkfish with whiskey sauce, garnished with THE biggest prawn ever was fabulous. After receiving the card for rating this restaurant “Our mission is making you happy”we really have to laugh out loud. It did not work!!! As in many ratings before, the service is poor. Not because of the nice waitress but because of those who are in charge. We ordered see bass with salt crust. The fish was excellent, really. But the side dishes potatoes and ratatouille became cold while waiting filleting the fish. And for two people, you should not be hungry. Ok, this not the reason for this bad rating. Visited the restaurant last night and the service and what food we had was disgusting. Although it is a nice setting it’s about the only thing that is good with the place. Order a starter which took 45 minutes to arrive (Crab Roll) for 2 x people. Very little Crab mainly brioche and seaweed. Then after waiting for another hour without getting our main meals we decided to leave. I was told that there had been a fault with the computer system and that the kitchen had not received the order. Just not good enough!! We visited this restaurant twice on our visit to the local area. Firstly…the food is really really nice, couldn’t fault it at all. Lovely fresh fish, amazing paella. What we were disappointed about was the management/supervisors (we assume). On our first visit we asked if they would do a small portion of salmon for our child and they said no…I’m not sure why, but in a restaurant where they make lots of fish…we were a bit disappointed. Completely happy to pay, but it was a no. The second time, there was lots of confusion over the bills. The food was very good, but the service was appalling. I know, they’ll say they were busy. Either they have sufficient staff or they don’t. The staff give you the impression they’re more important than the customers. Waiting to place an order, waiting for it to arrive, waiting for the dessert menus all took far too long. We asked for the bill three times before it eventually appeared. If they want to see how to run a restaurant and provide excellent service they should eat at the Valentin Star. Now that’s service!
Service very poor, asked for a glass of wine 4 times before I received it. Ordered a beer that didn’t arrive. Waited 45mins between starter main, with 2 kids this was difficult to say the least! The couple beside us had their starters after ours and had finished their main meal before ours even arrived! Staff avoided us. Food was beautiful and kids meal great. Expensive, should be better service
Average compared to what it advertises itself as. Front of house couldn’t even raise a smile, waitress/waiter were welcoming though and they’re rushed off their feet. Entrecote should have been medium, some parts were but was crispy on the outside. Monkfish (with mussels and prawns) overcooked slightly, not justified for a restaurant of this calibre. Overall it should be better.
Starter and main course good, if a little pricey. Unfortunately we had to send our deserts back as they were dreadful. We did get a sorry but no offer of anything else! The experience was spoiled because tables and chairs were cleared around us 1 hour 15 mins before the restaurant was due to close.

the food is good, but it is not excellent, we order a paella of fish and seafood, it was comible, but not what you expect to the dish, the strips of sepia, quite harsh though tasty, the drinks and coffees very much above what would be a normal price of restaurant
high quality in food and service. especially to highlight sebastian the maitre. the paella is excellent.
