Visited 3 11 2024 A Long Time Coming. I 've been wanting to try this wonderful Family owned Mexican Authentic Lamb BBQ out for a long time. There is History behind the menu here. (Check out the last Menu Photo to see what I mean. Lots of parking and super clean inside with loads of seating. Lots of great homemade choices from a place that specializes in bbq lamb dishes. First I must say that the lamb had no gamingness in the flavor department. The meat was cooked and seasoned perfectly with a fantastic flavor profile. I started with The Lamb Rib Meat Flautas. I’ve never been a huge fan of lamb, but after seeing this restaurant featured on the Travel Channel, I had to give it a shot. I ordered the lamb Quesataco, and it was amazing! It didn’t taste too much like lamb at all. I also decided to try something a bit different and ordered the Chupalines, and I absolutely loved them! Overall, the quality of the food was excellent and definitely worth the price. The service was great as well. I will definitely be returning to this place!

I always love coming here to eat. It is always busy, but yesterday I got lucky and I was the second person there. I ordered 1/2 a lambs head, this means that they 'harvest ' the meat off the lambs half. You get cheeks, tongue and the brains I know this is not for everyone. I also tried the soup. All the items tasted great! For those folk that are looking for more traditional cut of the lamb those are available as well.

This restaurant introduced me to flavors I would have never considered trying before. The Mexico City-style dishes were delicious, and I've become a big fan of them. I am vacationing in San Diego. Several of my friends recommends me Aqui es Texcoco. I really was impressed with the food served there and the costumer service. I highly recommend Aqui es Texcoco to all those hispanos tourist like me

This is a fantastic spot for lunch or dinner! The customer service is outstanding, and our server, Leslie, was incredibly sweet and accommodating, especially with our baby. My sister and I would definitely recommend this place!

best barbacoa lamb in town! great customer service, family friendly, TVs on both sides of restaurant. Still have not tried the Chapulines (fried grasshoppers). one day I will. you wont be disappointed here.

Some the best food that you will find in not only San Diego bet the entire Southwest region including Baja California. Really good sruff.
