Lunch time in Dearborn. Where to eat? Has to be somewhere new. Arbeel Kabab is close, open and sounds good. There's a QR code to look up the menu for the techies regular menus for the rest of us. The decor is nicely upscale, lots of stone work and tile. Wish the music was a bit quieter (a common refrain of mine, I know) but it was very nice. Marble tables, wooden chairs, they spent well to make a nice interior. There is outdoor seating as well. The woman at the counter was ready way before I could make a decision. All the pictures only served to make everything even more desirable. Since it was early and I have dinner plans I went light with just a chicken shawarma sandwich. (A favorite, too...
The most sad excuse for Iraqi Kabab. It’s a huge disappointment. Fat/meat ratio is 50/50 large pieces of fat and a few bone chips under my tooth when buying into it. I repeated my request when ordering over the phone if well done please. Apparently the girl that answered the call was too tired to talk or write down and relay the message to their grill guy. The kebabs were all laced/tinted with soot yet under cooked. Never again. Disgusting. Their good is not for human consumption. Disrespecting your customers and serving garbage is unacceptable. Shame on you. Shame.
Why just please help me to understand why you hire children to run customer service. The customer service is a mess and why because they are children of course they don’t really know what they are doing. Please do you remember when you had the mom and daughter working there???? Please put someone who knows what needs to be done to do a good job. Please consider as customer we only have the person serving the food as a direct understanding of how the owner feels is good enough customer
I ordered a shawarma sandwich and kebab. A shawarma roll. I grill meat, grill lettuce, grill tomatoes, and the rest of the roll is empty. Shame on these actions. We Iraqis are people of goodness and goodness, and these movements are not affiliated with us. Thank you for the delicious food after all those years! Long live the good food, the sweet Iraqi atmosphere, and the most important thing is good restaurant management with the people, always eating at the required and satisfying level. The kebab roll is Tayba Hail, the meat quzi with bean broth is Tayba Hail, and the salad is also considered good.
The Kabab sheesh is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced at $2 a piece, however, the lamb and chicken Tikka are burnt, 5 small pieces a skewer, and each skewer is $6!!!! Meaning each small 5 peaces of chicken are as pricy as a full rack of chicken beasts from Walmart!! Just buy the shhesh kabbab , the rest are outrageous prices.
Very bad experience, food wasn’t good not related to Iraqi food, breads not fresh, we ordered yogurt (Laban Erbil) they brought it after we finished because they forgot and it’s fake not as Laben Erbil, the washroom was extra dirty they did not clean it. Not recommended the place at all.
