La place des restaurants ne paie pas la mienne, mais dès qu'on rentre, on sait qu'on va passer une bonne nuit. La culture portugaise est au rendez-vous. la nourriture à la hauteur certainement un peu cher, mais c'est le prix de vivre une telle expérience. We made reservations (recommended since table availability fluctuates a lot! . From the beginning, our service experience was phenomenal. Great recommendations on wine, starters, and entrees. The music and ambiance was so sweet- a real window into the lovely musical culture of Fado! The whole experience brought tears to our eyes, as many folks were singing along together in what felt so familial and homey. Definitely recommend this place for food, music, and vibes.
We had dinner with a group of six yesterday. I was surprised that the restaurant was almost empty. All but one ordered tenderloin steak and we all got tough pieces of meat. I doubt it was even tenderloin. For 27 euros not at all acceptable so we returned them. Staff was very polite and apologised several times. Fado show and the location were very good, so the potential is there for something more that is worth the steep prices.

The place is awesome! Very beautiful and well decorated.<br/ <br/ The food is amazing the pork medallions are incredible and the singers are unbelievable, I 'm a usual client of these type of restaurants 'Casas de Fado ' and this one is for sure the best that I have ever been.
