Staff extremely rude. Masks screens make communication harder than normal but their music is also loud so everyone has to shout to get their order heard. Another customers order was mistakenly given to someone else when she asked about it the girl behind the counter yelled at her that it was her fault for not shouting. From 2 metres away with loud music the customer didn’t stand a chance of being heard. The staff made a mistake there was no apology. They were then left with the order that should have gone to the person who took the wrong order. Despite knowing they made a mistake the penny didn’t drop with the staff who kept shouting out the order which was never going to get picked up. Duh!...
After visiting the art gallery which is amazing I had tea and sausage roll. Everything was quite scrumptious, prompt service, very friendly. The reason I only gave the establishment 4 points was my disappointment when the table at the window I had decided on, was all of a sudden occupied by an employee. He made no move to offer me the table with the beautiful view. About 10 minutes later he offered it to a group and moved to a small side table. Did he purposely block the table?
Stopped off with my husband for breakfast and coffee and I’m not usually a fan of the cooked breakfast but the breakfast roll here was amazing. Not greasy, not sickly just perfect. Coffee was lovely and the place itself is spotless with the friendliest, loveliest staff. You can also sit outside on the deck and watch the world go by and the waves crashing. So peaceful and I will be back.
Went here for a wedding YUP you can book the top floor. It has great views and make a great backdrop for inside pics. Easily accessible too. And (although this has nothing to do with the venue) we had amazing weather which is unusual in Ireland and especially Mar.
