Perfect Neighborhood Restaurant. Archie's opened about a month ago, and I've already eaten there three times. This place has Azteca beat in flavor, price and service. The main dining room is on the smaller side, but they have a large full-service bar area, and a place where a larger party (maybe 30 or so? could sit apart from the rest of the restaurant. When you are seated at Archie's they bring you tortilla chips, salsa, bean dip, and sometimes a cabbage slaw, all of which are delicous. I've tried their Chipotle Chicken, which was good, and then I tried their Molcajete...I'm in love! You get a meal that could easily feed two people, with a huge bowl of hot, spicy, flavorful mexican stew wit...
Delicioso! I'm so happy after a delicious dinner! We were surprised to discover our favorite Mexican cuisine is back with a new name. These people used to have a remnant in Des Moines, and I never tasted Pollo con Crema like that since! They have an excellent salsa and homemade tortillas that let my husband cry! He had the Camerones Apretellados, bacon packed ooey gooey cheesy prawns, ridiculously good. The staff is friendly and efficient, same great waiters of years ago, and Archie the owner has found out it all- great food great service= happy return customers!!
Awesomeness. I love this place. It has only been open since January but I have been at 8-10. When they owned their previous restaurant we went 2-3 times a month. This is the best Mexican food around. The owners are great it has a true family atmosphere. They had one of their old waiters who still remembered how I liked my food my favorite meal. If that is not true customer service I don't know what is!! I look forward to many more meals there to go! Keep up the great work!!
I had a wonderful dinner at Archie's Mexican restaurant. The flavors of the food are fantastic! I make it a point to go for Happy Hour every week, where craft beers are just $2.00 from 3 to 6 PM. Their lunch specials are plentiful and change daily, allowing you to try something new each time for only $4.99 plus tax, which includes a soft drink. I highly recommend it for the delicious food and friendly service. Their Carne Asada is absolutely the best! Réservez une table maintenant
This is a fantastic neighborhood restaurant. I've visited several times with my friend Archie, and the food and service are consistently excellent. The staff is very friendly and genuinely seems to enjoy serving you and valuing your business. The food is fresh and offers amazing value. During my last visit, my friend and I were served generous portions—we ordered lunch specials, and the total cost for both of us was just over $10. Highly recommended!
