Lovely location but food service so so. It's fab to actually have lunch on the beach with a welcoming wind break and the fact it doesn't close for lunch (but not open Mondays) is a blessing too. The staff are friendly enough, and one waiter in particular was really nice in trying to make our experience worthwhile, but it does seem a bit of an effort to ask anything from the others. It is wonderful to have a cold beer in the sun on the beach, and the beer was good. Food, however, was so so for 2 out of the 3 choices we made. The best choice was the charcoal bun burger. Surprisingly our 11yr old, who can be a fussy eater at times, loved it even if it was a bit unusually pink in the middle for...
We got there at 1:45pm on a Saturday, and sat on an outside table that was still dirty. After 10 minutes of waiting, with no waiter in sight, I went inside to let him know I was waiting for him to come by. He said he would come right after. 10 minutes after that, we got him to come to our table (again, we had to ask), and when he came to take our order, he realized we wanted to order (to our surprise), and he said he didn't have his notepad, and he would go get it. 10 minutes after that, he came by to take the order of a couple that had arrived after us, to a point that we had to get up to express our discontent. Tem bom ambiente, excelentes funcionários e ótima comida!Já tinha ido a este restaurante muitas vezes para comer sandes, mais especificamente a sande Club (na minha opinião, a melhor! NO ENTANTO, após vários anos a ir a este restaurante e a comer esta sandes, recentemente, disseram-nos que deixaram de a fazer! Fiquei muito desiludida! Como é que de repente se deixa de fazer uma sandes tão boa, tão desejada e tão conhecida?Apenas nos disseram que a preparação desta sandes causava um grande atraso na cozinha! Mas será razão suficiente para deixar de fazer esta sandes?? Não acredito...
We were just crusin ' along the coast line of Northern Portugal on the N13 and followed one of the Praia signs and ended up in Praia de Carreco. Beautiful deserted coastline and a superb Restaurant at the end of the road. Sat out on the terrace and had a relaxing meal in the warm October sun Perfect. Service was very friendly and quick, food was plentiful and fresh. Great place to relax and enjoy life. Réservez une table maintenant
We called for a reservation and because of language issues, we thought they were open. They have lost their dinner chef, and are not serving. They suggested a place down the road, Pecado, which was worse than awful. More later, but only go here for lunch and be warned that they;ve lost their main chef.
