Never had Afghan food before. This was my first experience and it is Ok. I've been eyeing this restaurant for a while and finally decided to give it a try. I made a reservation, and the host was polite and helped us along the way. The food was served hot, and it tasted good. The entree portion size is perfect for one person and definitely on the expensive side. +points: Nice host, good ambiance and there have a lot of options for vegetarians. This was my first time trying Afghan cuisine and it was quite good, I wish google had an option for 3.5 stars… -The service was good. -The different flavors of the dishes were really good -The presentation of the dishes were good. -The SIZE of the appetizers and entree were small- I liked the taste of the dishes but for the price of each appetizer and the entree, they could provide more quantity. Finally, I’d recommend the Turkish coffee because it was really tasty!
The Kabuli Palaw is a masterpiece, a mix of fluffy rice with sweet bursts of raisins and the earthy crunch of carrots. The food here is perfect and the flavor is so original without the need for extra spices. They bring freshly baked bread with delicious sauce when you arrive. I brought my dog there and they offered a bowl of water and we're very friendly. Also they have a perfect Sauvignon Blanc that is tasty.

Sooo absolutely delicious! Never had Afghan food in my life, but only wow .. we tried all appetizers on the menu and ordered even more entrees. Everything tasted perfect! Flavorful but also a good balance. My favorite dishes are the braided lamb and pumpkins.
good food but overall not the best flavors. the yogurt drink was extremely salty and sour, and the appetizers we ordered had little flavor other than salt. however, the vegetarian special was super tasty, and i liked the vibe of the restaurant overall
Got the aushack, was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend. Only negative is for the portion size- I could have eaten two orders easily. (or price? If it wasn't 22$ I would have expected a smaller portion than other entrees)
Ordered and paid 147 dollars and only got plate of little burnt rice and meat. Overall I DO NOT recommend this restaurant if I could give 0 stars I would but I can't. Never going there ever in my life.

Ariana serves Afghani cuisine for dinner. I had the Kaddo, Banjan, Chopan and Sheerek. The flavors were incredible. Rostami was an excellent server. I have to go back someday.
Delicious food and fast service. Something expensive, but it fits the beautiful atmosphere.
