10/10, 5 stars, I'm so impressed. we loved our dinner experience in arkhe. we decided to go all with the full tasting menu with wine pairing, my two friends had the vegetarian set, I had the vegan. all the dishes were so beautifully designed, they were delicious, creatiw and unique. also the wee were beautiful, very well paired and very diverse. the only retreat was that the personal spoke so quietly that we did not hear the half of the descriptions, but we were not interested, we just enjoyed it. can not recommend this for its next special occasion. Arkhe puts together one of the most amazing vegetarian/vegan tasting experiences out there. The chef adapted the 7 course meal to be vegan. (But it was far more than 7 courses with all of the additional bites, including the delicious bread. We’ve never felt so satiated after a tasting menu. The menu was extremely creative, too. We happen to be seated at the chefs table in the back, and we were able to watch the kitchen during the service. The chef came over to our table to serve several courses, and we had the opportunity to speak to him at the end. The entire experience was a treat! Updated from previous review on 2024-05-24

Há bons ótimos vegetarianos em Lisboa, mas com este nível de sofisticação em termos de sabores, texturas e apresentação, nunca tinha visto. É absolutamente imperdível para quem segue os preceitos do vegetarianismo, mas sobretudo para quem gosta de comer bem. Palmas mereceram os pães do couvert e aquela manteiga fumada; e mais a panissa de grão; e mais aquele fenomenal ravioli de cogumelos e kimchi com um molho picante de chorar por mais; e por fim aquela refrescante sobremesa de abacaxi. Palmas merece também o chef e toda a sua equipa. Até já.

We opted for the seven course tasting menu and each dish was unique and surprising. Every dish could have sat alongside the dishes on some of Landon’s Michelin started vegan taster menus. Yes, it’s expensive but it is an experience and great quality. For that type of food and service the price is not crazy. The service was well choreographed but remained friendly rather than clinical. This was my first time trying a restaurant like this with a multi-course tasting menu and it was probably the best food I’ve ever had. Every dish was a creative work of art combining textures, flavors, and aroma to be unlike anything I’ve tasted before. One of the meals that you remember forever.

It was truly one of the best meals I have had. We savored a seven-course menu with a wine pairing over 2.5 hours. Even my non-veg husband loved it. There are no photos, as the dishes were timed and choreographed by the amazing staff, and photography felt disruptive to the carefully crafted flow.
