Arlberger Dorfstubn

Me and my sister popped into the bar attached to this restaurant for a hot chocolate after dinner. The female server was very surly and took our order reluctantly. After trying to get the bill for ages with no luck, we went to the bar to pay and were informed we could only use card for over 30 Euros. No problem, but we didn't have cash so asked where the nearest cash point was. The server immediately barked at us 'you can't both go. One must stay. I don't know you.' She basically accused us of trying to steal from her for our 3 Euro hot chocolates. I just thought it was incredibly rude the way she said it. Of course, we probably wouldn't have both gone to the cash machine and at the very lea...

We ate here on an Easter Sunday evening. The entrance is a bit inconspicuous, and the tables are at the end of a passageway, past the bar. The restaurant was nearly full, though there is more seating at the rear. The menu is good honest traditional fare - nothing too fancy, nothing too plain. The meal was well-cooked (though the chips were a bit uninspired!), the portions generous, and the prices reasonable. The service was friendly and the food came promptly, which was commendable, as the place was quite busy. Recommended.

The Dorfstubn is always busy. But, they are normally happy for you to wait at the bar with a drink! They have big tables and you will normally share. A lot of locals eat here so you can polish up your local knowledge. You don't get rushed and it's "service with a smile"! Prices are OK and there's lots of choice. The Beef goulash is great.

Haben im Restaurant reserviert und bekamen auch einen Tisch für 2 Personen. Leider mit der Bemerkung, das der Tisch nach 1.5h wieder freigegeben werden muss. Dem entsprechend war der Abend von stress geprägt und eine gemütliche Atmosphäre kommt nicht auf. Leider war der Zwiebelrostbraten sehr zäh und nicht zu empfehlen. Réservez une table maintenant

Das Rindsfilet war sehr gut, das Schweins-Wiener-Schnitzel in Ordnung. Salat und Espresso ausgezeichnet. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Die Atmopshäre ist gemütlich, vor allem im Sommer ist der Gastraum aber etwas zu dunkel.

Das Essen im Dorfstubn wird sehr schnell zubereitet. Wir waren mit 14 Leuten da und alle haben das Essen gleichzeitig erhalten. Beste Salatsauce die ich je gegessen habe. Durch und durch war das Essen sehr gut!

Nice restaurant, I’ve eaten tasty käsespätzle. However, people I had diner with were less satisfied with their food (meat), and the waitress was a bit rude.

Stopped here on a bad weather skiing day nice cosy bar. Very substantial goulash soup. Service a bit slow and abrupt but ok for a quick lunch Réservez une table maintenant

Had a very nice meal here. Food was Austrian and the kids loved it. Staff friendly and good value for money. Would recommend.
