I was keen to visit this quaint little café as I loved listening to Annie singing in her band. Sadly I will never go to this café again or seek out Annie's band. The food was tasty but the experience was bad from the second we entered. Annie thinks that her way of training her staff is entertaining, we found it humiliating. If I were her staff I would quit. Annie constantly "trained" them in the presence of the customer and told them that certain things were their fault. We actually thought the waiting staff were friendly and efficient until we asked for the bill. Because Annie thought we were enjoying ourselves she didn't deem it necessary to give us the bill until we got up and left 3/4 ho...

We discovered this cafe by chance when the inn was packed and it's a little gem. Our drinks came out really quickly but we did have to wait a little while to be served our meals (which we were told when we paid for them). We had two young kids with us and the staff were very friendly and attentive to their needs, offering toys to play with and complimentary food (a cut up orange and a ham and cheese sandwich) while we waited for our lunch. While our lunch orders did not arrive at the same time, we were all really happy with them. The tuna and salad sandwich was huge and had heaps of fillings, the beef burger with the lot was delicious, my Dad loved his bacon and egg burger, my hubby was happy...

We chose two Angus Beef Hamburgers, one with egg and one with cheese. For $15.-- EACH we expected at the very least that the patties would be fresh. Instead they were frozen. We asked for 2 bottles of water. they did not come from the fridge because the water was warm. When the burgers came, they were accompanied with nothing...no chips, salad consisted of 2 slices of beetroot and 1 leaf of dry lettuce. $15 each for two frozen patties. It was disgusting not only on the level of rip off but taste. Honestly, we have never had worse than this! Please try and avoid this place!

Everything about our lunch meal here was horrible. It was so bad that on our way home I had to laugh at how utterly terrible EVERYTHING was. *scalding hot baby chino*burnt burgers *burgers not coming out with what we ordered*served two pieces of crust as Raison Toast*one meal not coming out at all*disinterested staff *very expensive for what you get *inedible I had to complain to management and she didn't charge us and admitted that she was about to have a staff meeting to address how badly the day had gone. Would never return.

We were looking for a small lunch and hot drink and this was a perfect little find. Just down the street from the Cockington Green Gardens. This cafe offers breakfast, lunch and a great selection of hot drinks. The staff are very friendly and the lady who served us even guessed where we were from in the UK. Lovely little cafe with indoor and outdoor seating, good price too. Thank you for great service and making our trip to Canberra even better.

Wow!! I almost don't want to review this place as it's a loveley out of the way cafe that the crowds skip. The lady who runs it is lovely and so accomadating for fussy eaters. All her staff are lively, chatty, friendly and can't do enough for you. The food is fresh and simple which I enjoyed. The prices are terrific especially after some of the cafes we went too. An absolute Oasis!!

Lovely fun and casual food. Well worth a visit away from the more hectic parts of Ginnenderra Village. Thanks to the wonderful owners. Also music normally on the weekends, but the waitress didn't turn up in the day, the musician was the waiter for the day ;-) Réservez une table maintenant

Friendly welcome from Annie and simple, uncluttered menu. We had brunch there and the food was fresh and tasty. Cosy, quaint atmosphere where Annie can sing at any moment. Worth a visit.
