Arnold's Bbq And Grill

Being from KC I can say I have had lots of BBQ so I feel I can speak well. First I like the style of my ribs with sauce on the side. Most places put so much sauce it overpowers the rib. Having it on the side is nice. These ribs were just a bit tough and dry in a few spots. I would go 3.7 to 4 only because of that. My fiance went with brisket since I did ribs so we can share and try different things. Sadly the brisket is chopped instead of sliced then topped with bbq sauce. Sliced is always better and this tasted more like a dry roast beef. Blame it on us for not asking but wished the menu reflected it. Roll was good, coleslaw while very small was good. My thoughts are today wasn't their day! The greens were just salty, brisket came chopped and dry, it had a pile of barbecue sauce on it to try mask the lack of flavor, (I want to add the amount of barbecue sauce if desired). The two tiny muffins that I got were microwaved hard?.At least the fried okra was good and the beer was cold. I was charged separately for the 2 sides that supposedly came with the beef brisket plate. I thought the staff was friendly until there was a 20% gratuity forced onto the bill after I gave my honest thoughts on the meal. The place was clean but I was the only one dining in so it shouldn't have been dirty.Stop by if ya want to, but you're taking a chance.

This place was great. The ladies that served us were fantastic. The restaurant itself was clean and welcoming. Took some doing to find but it was worth it. Would love to give 5 stars but I had my heart set on some Memphis style ribs only to get there and be told they had no ribs. I'm not sure what happens when a BBQ joint has no ribs at 5:30 on a Wednesday night but it was a huge disappointment. Settled for the brisket dinner. The food was fantastic. The sides could be a little bigger but tasted great. I would highly recommend, but call ahead first to make sure they have ribs if that's what you're looking for.

We were the first in the restaurant at 5 PM on 6/30/2023. We waited 10 minutes before we were seated. We waited 15 minutes before our order was taken. It was 5:55 before our food was served. There were 3 tables of people by this time. The brisket was dry. I love brisket and did not finish it. There was a 20% service fee added to the check and there was still a place for a tip on the bill. I would not return to this place.

All I can say is wow..the bbq here is fantastic. Very large portions and a comfortable dining atmosphere..and did I mention how delicious the food was!
