Came here with my parents and sister. Everything about this restaurant is authentic. We had a beet salad, fried zucchini flowers, and octopus as an appetizer. The fried zucchini flowers were as good as any I have had. My gnocchetti in a pork ragù were excellent. My father's orecchiette with sausage and broccoli rabe were fantastic, particularly the sausage. My sister's rigatoni had less ricotta and more eggplant than she expected, but the sauce was great. My mother was not as impressed with her penne in a pesto, with shrimp and mushrooms as the shrimp was nothing special. The restaurant is charming and beautiful, the food was outstanding, and the staff was courteous, friendly, and extremely attentive. The meals were served family-style, and they helped us create the ideal menu. The food arrived at just the right moments, allowing our party of 20 to mingle and enjoy wine without feeling rushed. The food was absolutely delicious, and the waiting staff was fantastic—very friendly and attentive. The only reason I didn't give a full five stars was due to a delay caused by another party. I understand that these things can happen, but I had to wait for my espresso until after dessert was served. Overall, it was a great evening.
I visited this restaurant with my friends for the first time, and the food was absolutely phenomenal. I should mention that the atmosphere is upscale, so no jeans allowed.
