Drove down to Prospect today from a recommendation of a friend saying that "Arriba Grill has the best burritos in Adelaide". With that level of confidence in saying so, I had to try it. This small store is located on Prospect road, and it was pretty quiet during lunch time. Majority of their customers are all online ordering/takeaway. We were the only people dining in. The benefit though was that there was no one to fight over the N64 they had up for customers to play on! Living the memories of the past, while waiting for your meal was amazing. ***edit 8/5* I was surprised and confused by the positive reviews for Arriba. it now seems there are new owners for this establishment who clearly don't give a **** what theyre serving up. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE OLD POSITIVE REVIEWS MEANT FOR PREVIOUS OWNER*** I feel totally sad. The ordering system is like picking bingo numbers... Fun and satisfying. But they still managed to get our order wrong. Why even have this ordering system in place? Absolutely massive burrito came out.... But it was all about quantity and definitely not quality. Tough seasoned chicken amongst rice.... No salsas (as requested) to note. Physically impossible to eat.... And intense...
Have eaten here so many times I think I am a burrito. The food tastes ten times better than other takeaway Mexican joints, the salsas are delicious and fresh and not processed **** made days in advance and the beans are always moreish. While I was pregnant I had some pretty specific requests in regards to how my burrito bowl was served to takeaway and the staff were always able to accommodate even when I made the requests via online ordering. How should I bring my baby in?: If you're coming in during a busy meal time I'd just carry them in or bring them in a capsule if you can. Otherwise you'd be able to squeeze a pram in near one of the few bench tables inside. Réservez une table maintenant
Smells amazing - it brings you in. I had the nachos. They were pretty sloppy and disappointingly bland. Boyfriend had a chicken burrito which was better. Fast friendly service though and ingredients all look fresh. They have a massive basket of avocados in the front which they work their way through so it's not that frozen guac!
