The meal was decent, but certainly not up to the standards you'd expect from a restaurant with such a name. I would suggest pausing service until they can create a proper tasting menu. There were many positives: the bread and butter were good, the scallops were excellent, and the canapés were delicious. The pork belly was beautiful as well. However, the steak was the worst piece of meat I’ve ever been served—it was tough and inedible. I was surprised that my feedback wasn’t taken seriously. I ended up sending a plate of food back, and despite trying to salvage a portion by taking it home, no one in my household wanted to eat it 24 hours later. Had the tasting menu with wine pairing. Food was spectacular, best I've ever eaten. Ever single thing was stunning,from the canapés through to the desserts. Staff were friendly, welcoming informative, can't praise them enough. Wine was perfect with each course. Worth the overnight stay just to go there.
