My daughter recently got married and we ordered a nut free wedding cake as we had a number of guests who had nut allergies. It was just beautiful and sooo delicious! In addition to this, we had a guest who had celiac disease and also had allergies to the usual flours rice, chickpea, etc) that might have been used in a dessert for her. Kim came up with a brownie that was made with cassava flour which was served to our 12 guests with allergies after the dinner. We served it with a dusting of powdered sugar, fresh raspberries and a raspberry purée. They loved it! Our guest with celiac and multiple allergies was so thrilled that she could actually eat a dessert without going into medical distres...
I love the bakery and the staff, I’ve never been disappointed with the service or the delicious product. I was a bit put off today when I looked at the display cases and noticed the pre-packaged cookies with a very offensive political message. I feel for a family bakery, this cookie displayed in plain sight for children or families to see is in poor taste. I’m not judging politically, I just feel the content and the graphics can be offensive, Artsy Baker is a reputable high calibre bakery, this was in bad taste.
Antonella and the Artsy Baker team made my occasion so so special! They went above and beyond and made sure that our needs were met and our stomach’s were full! Antonella took the time to sit down with us, and help turn our ideas into reality! Such a pleasure to work with and we will be doing any future orders with Artsy Baker!
This place is a must-try. Donuts are OUT OF THIS WORLD! The cupcakes, we had a chocolate one, was so moist and the icing was perfection.
