The food at Arya is fantastic, served in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Jess, the hostess, went out of her way to accommodate us even though the restaurant was fully booked. Chris, from the pub downstairs, provided excellent recommendations on drinks. The food, prepared by chef Luke, was some of the best we have had in Kent. The flavors and textures were spot on, creating unique and delicious dishes. The tapas-style small plates allowed us to try a variety of dishes. We appreciated that everything, including the bread, was locally sourced and that the menu changes accordingly. We are excited to return to Arya and wish them continued success.
I give this brother-sister restaurant a solid four stars. I dined here with my friends and loved the variety of dishes on the menu and the selection of flavors. We ordered two appetizers, six small plates, and three entrees. The food was delicious, although the portions were not large. Luckily, we ate slowly and had a great conversation, so we felt satisfied. The drinks from the separate bar downstairs were tasty and affordable. My photos don't do it justice.

No wonder that michellin thought fit to recommend arya (by visiting our site). jess is warm, unpredictable and more than happy to chat about the restaurant. luke (cook) is clearly a master of his craftsmanship and supplies fresh, beautifully cooked and too times outdated ingredients. highly recommended.
I came with high hopes. We had five dishes in total. One or two dishes didn’t quite meet those holes at the start but then a couple more bites made me realise that actually it was in fact exactly what I should be wanting. The lamb gnocchi and the boccacini were the highlights. Exciting. Simple. Innovative. Consistently delicious throughout. Great, personal service with perfect ambience. Réservez une table maintenant
What a great find! Situated above the pub you're left a little apprehensive at first but fear not, venture in and you'll be treated to great hospitality and excellent food. All the plates we tried were tasty and well put together. My wife and I shared some nibbles to start and five main plates. After sharing a dessert we left pleasantly full and very happy..
Wow what a treat. As vegans dog owners we were in absolute heaven. The food was totally amazing, creative dishes full of flavour and wholesome natural ingredients. The environment was inviting and relaxing, Jess was more than welcoming to us and our 2 dogs. We had a great evening.
