However, when I received the pork loin, there was hardly any stuffing—it was more like a sprinkle than a proper filling. After just 1 hour and 30 minutes of cooking, the thermometer indicated it was done at 160 degrees, but since we had planned for a longer cooking time, the entire meal was thrown off and nearly ruined. I paid a premium for the meat and even incurred a service charge on my credit card.

I visited the restaurant yesterday and bought 8 sausages and a mozzarella, which came to over $30. The man at the counter asked if I wanted bread, and I declined. He seemed a bit annoyed by my response, but I brushed it off. Later, I changed my mind and went back in to get some bread—two loaves. He quoted me $12, which seemed steep for one seeded Italian bread and one semolina. However, the sausages were fantastic, and I have to say, the bread was excellent as well.
Underwhelmed. The people were as nice as could be, the store clean and full of what looked delicious. Almost everything we bought was disappointing. On the upside... the filet mignon was delicious! However, it was cut into 4 steaks as requested... and none of then were close to the same size. Made it difficult to cook properly... but the meat itself couldn't be better. Almost everything else we bought was disappointing. Shame... nice people we won't be seeing again.
I've shopped in the A S Pirk Store for decades. Not one time have I had a complaint.They have the very best hot and sweet(with fennel, my favorite) sausages. Cold cuts great too. As are all their prepared food. The best rib eye steaks too. So much more!You've just got to try them one time and you're hooked for life.Thank you A S!!!!????

Came here with a buddy who lives in the area. Had a couple of Italian sandwiches to go. The 'Lee ' came on a large hero bun and the other was the 'Raymundo ' club sandwich with roast beef which was half the size, but double the meat. Both authentic, tasty and had a strong flavor.
Had my fiance stop in while in NY, she got 3 sandwiches and black and white cookies and rainbow cookies. How is it over 80$ what a rip-off. Not only that but they didn't even put the peppers on the sandwiches ..
I've been coming here since 1972, and calling it fabulous doesn't do it justice. The quality is outstanding, and you definitely get your money's worth!
Great pork store located in Massapequa. The service was very friendly, the selection and quality are excellent! You can't go wrong here!
