We ordered two combination plates, which included one short rib taco and a chile relleno, along with a house margarita and a beer. The total came to $73, not including the 20% tip we left, which felt excessive given the quality of what we received. We used to enjoy getting takeout from this place, but our last two visits have been disappointing. When we arrived to pick up our order, no one welcomed us, and we waited over 10 minutes just to collect food that was already prepared. Some items that are usually included were missing from our order. Additionally, we noticed that the fried calamari seemed to be frozen and pre-made. We’ll likely return to La Sierra in the future. Came here on a Tuesday to order their Taco Tuesday deal on street tacos. We ordered Carne Asada, short rib, Mahi Mahi fish, and crispy potato tacos. All of them were tasty but would highly recommend the crispy potato, Carne Asada, and Fish taco. You order outside and find a place to seat afterwards. Service was good and timely with refills. I visited this restaurant for the first time, and I had a great experience! Agostino, who manages everything—cashier, bartender, server—was incredibly friendly and hardworking. I ordered the mahi burrito, and it was delicious! I will definitely be returning!

I highly recommend this restaurant! Josh, the attendant, was friendly, professional, and efficient. The pozole and queso fundido were authentic and absolutely delicious. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 out of 5!
This place is a local favorite, and it's worth a visit. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. It's not your typical generic Mexican cuisine. The short rib tacos are particularly tasty.

I really enjoyed the steak and the shrimp tacos. The margarita was excellent as well. The staff was friendly, and the prices were reasonable.

Nice place to eat. Friendly staff and outdoor reseating is nice. Close to the beach too. Food was tasty and not too spicy.
