Really great hole-in-the-wall ambiance! There were a couple larger groups here and a few other customers coming in and out. But it doesn't seem as well known. They do have a parking lot at the back, but we parked over by the funeral home since spots fill up quickly. It's a bit confusing to figure out. We didn't know where the host stand was since we didn't realize there were two entrances. We entered the door off the street, but the host stand is on the other side of the room. The entrance on that end leads to the parking lot. And the room is small. So it gets cramped if you're waiting at the host stand just standing wherever. We did get seated right away. I was finally able to patronize Asahi after years of driving by it. We stopped by last Sunday evening around 6:30 PM. Fortunately it's wasn't too crowded and we were seated right away. It's a smaller restaurant but has a good amount of seating inside, including a sushi bar that maybe has six seats. It's a little confusing when you walk in, since you have to walk to the back of the restaurant for the hostess stand. Once we figured it out we were seated right away. They have a simple drinks menu, which includes sake, wine and beer. We settled on a bottle of sparkling wine! We ordered sushi rolls, appetizers to share and salads. Everything came out quickly. My family and I used to dine here frequently so when we were craving some sushi recently, we decided to give it a shot. We parked in the back parking lot and used that entrance. The hostess greeted us right away and showed us to a table. Pleasant surprise to not have a wait on a Friday night especially at a smaller restaurant. I ordered a giant roll and he ordered chicken teriyaki with rice, as a main course. We also enjoyed spring rolls and ginger house salads. Don't forget to check out the boards by the sushi bar with the roll specials, i didn't notice until after ordering. Can't complain, friendly staff and yummy food!

Cute little spot with parking around back. You can grab a table or sit at the small bar. Three of us went. I got the New Orleans roll which I really enjoyed. The Asahi roll and crunchy shrimp roll were also really good. Overall great sushi and super fresh!

The service is great and reliable and the sushi is just the best. I've been coming here since I was a kid and it just is great it's not fancy sushi just good and reliable and authentic
