My partner I were visiting Dunferline for the weekend and decided to go here for Saturday night dinner, table booked for 5.30pm via website which was very convenient and on arrival the restaurant was very busy and had a nice atmosphere. My partner I could not help but notice that there was one member of staff who let the rest of the team down by not doing her fair share of the work, she floated about whilst Carys Khan (I asked their names) were very busy keeping on top of everything at a very impressive quick pace, well done to these very valuable members of staff, I hope that Carys Khan get the recognition they deserve by the owner,as for the other lazy female she needs to realise she letti...
We ordered a meal for two based on a recommendation from a family friend. The meal included Vegetable Pakora, Chicken Patia, Lamb Bhuna, two Pilau rice, garlic Naan, and various sauces. The Pakora was flat and hard around the edges. The Chicken Patia was supposed to be sweet and sour, but it tasted more like Heinz Tomato Ketchup with a lot of sugar added. My daughter also found it too sweet. My son enjoyed his Lamb dish, so I would give that 1 star. Overall, I do not plan on returning to this restaurant as it was the worst meal I have ever had.
Made an online booking for 2pm on Saturday , could see the restaurant closed at 2.30pm but assumed it was last Sitting at this time . Received confirmed X 2 that our booking was confirmed for 2pm turned up at the restaurant at 2 to be told it closed at 2.30pm so we would need be finished by this time ? Absolutely stupid , booking system needs updated along with the website and along with the staff confirming the bookings . Ended up going to the Royal Bengal where we received great service Along with fantastic food .
Staying in the hotel opposite we decided to try Nepalese for the first time and glad we did. We both love Indian food but this is Indian taken up a notch, from the shared starter of mixed pakora, more spices than any other Indian, through the Gurkha Chilli Chicken and onto dessert all amazing. BUT Better than the food are the friendly staff who all managed to help us in our selections and ensured we were satisfied but without over doing it. We will be back even though it's a 1 hour journey from home. Réservez une table maintenant
Good food but service was terrible. 2 tables sat a little while after we’d arrived got their food first then we started getting naan bread served even though we hadn’t had our starter yet. When we mentioned that it seemed like we got offered a free drink for that but got charged for it anyway on the bill
Arrived at 6.00pm on Saturday. Waited over 1 hour and 15 minutes to be served. Food was terrible and staff kept on coming to the table with other people's meals. This place use to be good but don't touch this place with a barge pole. Service is awful and meals are terrible.
