Welcoming staff, clean and presentable and excellent food, we all tried something different from the menu and everyone enjoyed their meals, the portions were generous even the kids meals! The fish and chips was amazing, not greasy at all and the curry sauce had a lovely tingle! We were playing on forres for the British Pipe band Championships and decided to stop in Inverurie on the way back to Dundee and stopped at the Ashvale chippie and the service was excellent, there were 20 of us and we were in and out in about 20 minutes, great service and great food. they also had clean toilets which is a relief after sitting n a bus for a couple of hours. Fish restaurant attached to a very popular chip shop. Fish is always fresh and cooked perfectly in crisp batter. They also do an excellent steak with chips, mushrooms, tomato, onion rings and salad. Mine was cooked as requested and enjoyed very much. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
