we were in many Afghan restaurants and were left underwhelmed by ashys. the portion sizes for what they pay were so small. the aromen lacked in real taste what we are used. we ordered the mantu, kebabs and the aubergine bowl. the mantu and kebabs were a bit spoiled. the kebabs were beautiful, but in portions very small. I would skip this place and go to one of the many kebab sites in dandenong for real authentic Afghan aromen, where they get good value for money.
Ashy’s is an awesome Afghan restaurant serving the best, their Lamb shank Pilaf was the best we’ve had, will definitely be going there again! I like the fact that their menu is short, keeping it to the things they best serve, also their dumplings with a dhal was good. Best of all though is that they are halal, thank you Ashy’s for an excellent meal!
we visited here on Sunday for lunch. we were greeted by a beautiful waitress and then supervised by another guy who was very nice and friendly. the food was served with a smile and it was tasty and tasteful, we really loved the fresh bread. Although eating was very nice, the portions were a bit small, but otherwise a good experience.
We came past this place for the first time, we didn't plan on coming we were going next door to the other cafe, and decided to try. Food was very yummy, highly recommend getting the Mantu and the Borani. Reasonably priced food and great coffee. Réservez une table maintenant
Had this through UberEats. Delicious meats that we’re well seasoned a nice yoghurt mint dip. The bread didn’t taste fresh however but seemed packeted the salad was very basic.
The food at this restaurant is delicious. They offer a fantastic selection of Middle Eastern dishes and drinks. The staff is lovely and I will definitely be returning again.
Amazing, great food. Highly recommend the lamb dumplings which were incredible! The staff were attentive and kind. It’s not a very fancy but food is worth it!
The food with rice was so heavy but they cooked it very well which can’t be said in words, need to try it out and the ambience was so good and neat. Réservez une table maintenant
