This food was greasy and disgusting. I honestly believe I got food poisoning from eating here. The delivery was over an hour wait, the driver was so nasty and disrespectful because he got turned around and couldn’t comprehend the directions I attempted to give him. When I called the store to ask how much longer my food would be after it exceeded the time frame they told me initially I was told by a woman working that she didn’t know how long it would be before I received my food. That is horrible customer service! The food was cold and drenched in grease and immediately after eating I felt nauseous and ended up vomiting a few hours after eating this meal. Delivery took over two hours. Slow to respond when I called after an hour and a half to inquire where the food was. Cancelled order but it arrived cold of course.. WILL NEVER order from them again. Update in response to the owner"s response. Two hours for delivery is never acceptable especially when we are so close. We canceled the order but they still delivered the food (and charged us). The food was cold as if it had been sitting around for two hours. It took the owner 5 months to reply to my post. That shows they don't really care about their customers. They food wasn't that great so even if it had arrived on time I wouldn't have ordered from them again.
I generally have a fine experience with Red House. The food is okay and very consistent. However, the last time I ordered, the delivery guy was very rude. I requested contactless delivery and that with well. I picked up the food and my daughter took the food out of the bag.We the. Went upstairs to wash our hands and heard a hard banging on the door. I told my daughter to stay upstairs. I went to the door to find the delivery man at the door. He’d given us the wrong food. We didn’t open it but we did take it out the bag. He told me I should have hurried and answered the door instead of opening the food. Rude and assumptive.
Not good. First it took an hour and a half to get my food then when the driver got here he called me and told me to come to his car. He didn't even get out of his car. I actually deliver Chinese food up in bucks county and this is not ok I shouldn't have even tipped him. Then I got the seafood noodle soup and it smelled like a cardboard box. Then when I went to take a bite the noodles were either extremely over done or they were old and just heated up again because they were soggy and tasted horrible. I didn't even eat it. This place is really not worth your money or the time you have to wait to even get your food.
I ordered sesame chicken and mango, shrimp fried rice, waited 1.5 hrs and only sesame chicken arrived. We called back and explained that 1/2 of our order was missing and that we were hungry and still wanted the remainder of our food and the response was that “you have to pay”. There was no indication that we wouldn’t pay, so this response was completely unprovoked. This is the worst customer service that I have seen in a long time. I am very disappointed, especially because the sesame chicken was very good. Unfortunately, this is how establishments like this lose good customers. Shame on you Red House.
Ordered food and took a hour for delivery on a Tuesday. Okay got over that. The store called backs asking how much we were going to give for tip before the driver arrived 20minutes later. A bite unprofessional to me but I understand business so brush that off. Received my food and wasn't satisfied at all. Let me take that back. The fried dumplings were good, my shrimp and broccoli no so much. Shrimp was soft, broccoli taste dirty, sauce left bad after taste and the fortune cookies were stale. Really. Plenty of places in the area worth spending my money on. Red House won't get my money again.
Oh no. Please don’t go here. The food is absolutely NOT good. Poorly prepared and just thrown together. They are only in business bc ppl haven’t had any better. This is not Chinese food and not even close to being a fusion restaurant. The ONLY thing that is acceptable is the sushi rolls and gyoza. Don’t waste ur money trying anything more. Asian cafe in hatboro is great and has delivery on Uber eats or green garden Chinese but they only take cash and it’s all the way worth it!!! But not this place…
Only have ordered take away delivered. I have my go to’s that generally never disappoint. Wonton soup, shrimp lo mein and chicken with broccoli. Overall the food is good, the noodles can be over cooked sometimes and the pork fried rice not good for my taste. Overall decent Chinese food that delivers.
