Very disappointed with this particular Asian Legend location. Attended a family celebration with over 30 people and we had a private room with three tables. It was a set menu and the food was pretty decent except for the extra unwanted ingredient (earwig) found by another guest. The tea cup that my daughter had was damaged and if she had drank from the damaged edge, she could have easily cut her lips. I refrained from calling the waiter as this was a celebratory dinner so I didn't want to cause any unwanted attention and just placed the cup aside.Dinner Menu card showed we were having steamed bass which I was looking forward to but unfortunately, the bass was replaced by a much cheaper Tilapi...

TLDR; Our food had an earwig cooked into it AND they tried to pass off a cheap white fish for the bass that we ordered and tried to tell us nobody would notice the difference. My family had an intimate reception at this Asian legend, we rented the back room and ordered the set meal.In the first course of the 10 course meal, a younger family member found a whole earwig in the dish. It was the size of my nail and it was mixed in with the appetizer. Everyone was grossed out but, trying our best to enjoy the occasion, we carried on. A few courses later we sprung for the bass (as listed in the menu). When the fish came out, some of our more knowledgeable family members started to notice that it de...

I don't write this review/message lightly. Let's start by saying you could feel the dislike for someone from my cultural group instantly, by not 1 by 3 people. I looked past the 1st person to ensure I gave we gave it a fair shot and not let 1 bad apple impact us. After all 3 people, my review stands.Found it confusing that only a specific type of clients were sat in the main dining area. Didn't get a waiter for an extended amount time as we were in a back corner and would watch the the service we didn't get (in the main area) on the other side the screen. After an extended period of time we had to walk our order up.As we waited sadly another family experienced the same thing (behind screen a...

We reserved the VIP room (with 2x tables that accommodate 26 adults 3 young kids) which requires us to spend minimum CAD250 per table. The room was clean and spacious enough. Our main server (Ernest) was very attentive, he would regularly check on us and refill our tea pots. The other staff were also attentive, they would take out the empty plates as they brought in new dishes. The service charge was reasonable for such a great service. We ordered multiple standard dishes, nothing stand out, but they were freshly made and came out hot. Although the delivery gaps between each dishes could be shortened.Parking: Lots of parking spots.

First time to this location. We were hungry and ordered a few expensive dishes. The house special lobster is sweet and sour lobster. That was the first time. Not bad. We also got the peking duck, one course. It was okay. Got a spicy lamb dish, soup dumplings, and a Cantonese Chow Mein, too. It was a lot of food for 2 people. Asian legend is always a solid choice for yum delicious dumplings and beef noodle soupI do think overall they are a great choice, but believe the food taste has gone down a bit in terms of overall deliciousness. They were good but nothing really stood out and said wow to meWith that said, I do believe the service and aesthetic at this location are on point. Very quick and efficient and the atmosphere gives you a nice high end vibeGreat job!

I used to love their northern Chinese noodle, pastry, xiao long Bao (soup dumplings) so much many years ago; but the quality seems lack of consistency among different locations. They focus too much in catering those new Chinese immigrants' taste buds than old Torontonians, and the end up not improving the flavor of the basic delicacy that made them popular in the past. Looking for better food experience of our next visit.

It's been a very long time, years, since my wife and I have had Asian food this good. It literally blows away every other place we have tried. Asian Legend Don Mills, PLEASE keep doing exactly what you're doing, don't change a thing.I can't comment on the atmosphere because we have only done takeout, but I can say that the place looks great and the seats are always mostly full planning on dinner there at some point.

Unfortunately this restaurant is a shadow of what it was years ago. Prices have gone up, food portions much smaller and quality took a nosedive. Understanding that prices have gone up and it’s a suffering restaurant industry but it feels like they have already given up.
