I debated on this review, but decided I could not give an outstanding rating. My wife and I come here frequently and this is the first time I have had a less than perfect experience here. I took my wife here for a Valentine’s lunch on Ash Wednesday and had a later reservation as we were attending church service first. The food was outstanding and the service was outstanding until I inquired about having some tea for myself and wife and possibly dessert but was told the kitchen was now closed. I was so taken back as we were not told before hand and asked if we would like anything else. This was not the response I would have expected at a 5 star hotel. What a great stay! Thank you Sundae, John, Cole, Saeed, Kelly, Jordan, Amira, the Butler Team, the Valet team, the Houskeeping Team, Jeanie Milena from the spa, the spa team, and all of the staff for an amazing time! You all made our anniversary very special and we cannot thank you enough! Although there were issues, you all ensured we were taken cared of, and for that we are greatly appreciated! Service was top notch. The past few years the higher end hotels in Atlanta service levels have declined. St Regis was an exception. We had a quick overnight girls weekend, and we were all 4 impressed from the valet. To the front desk. To servers. All the staff were kind and had a smile. Will 100% be back. For the cost, its the service you expect, but do not always get today. Location is central, yet tucked away. Easy access to several areas in Atlanta.
