I arrived at 19.00pm after a long car travel and the chef, from Spain, attended me without delay, explaining all details of the menu, both the standard menu for the Ibis hotel, as the special offer of the day with dishes designed by the chef, based on local food and km0 ingredients, with a very fresh and honest way of cooking, in particular the meat and the tartines, with delicious taste, with full respect to all details on the quality of the main ingredients, meat, artichokes, bread, herbs.... and with a very well measured balance on the quality, quantity and price.
Very nice place. Just a shame about the waiting time on the terrace... Returned after a year to try the famous Druide fondue and what a nice surprise. Starter: a neat salad, the meat fondue seasoned well, a simple broth with aromatic herbs of your choice to garnish. Homemade sauces. Baked potatoes. All really very tasty. Just the price 69.-chf pp is still exaggerated given a photo nine months ago in the reviews at 45.chf and on the site 49.-chf....
We ate there again on January 29, 2024 at noon. Main course: pork yellow curry with pineapple rice. Delicious (not too sweet)! Like in 2023, where we ate there twice: excellent welcome, good food, good service, in a quiet restaurant with very reasonable prices! Please note: there is parking right next to the Ibis hotel.
Superb Halloween evening, photo of the only table alone so as not to infringe on image rights, concert, service and atmosphere at the top!... without forgetting the quality of the cook who is always so innovative and constant. And all this for an unbeatable price, thank you team and see you soon!
