Rice is too hard and prawns are small. Not worth a money, they used to be very friendly but now I’ve ordered over the telephone and they made a mistake with my order twice. The rice should be cooked in regular bases not make on the morning and left so they become hard and tasteless. Hardly any vinegar in rice. This is not sushi rice. Just rolled rice ball. It shows that the chef is not thought how to make proper sushi. Never buy again.
Been coming here occasionally for years to pick food up , ordered at 5 to pick up at 730 pm told it will be 30-45 mins late , staff didn’t want to discuss weren’t bothered at all , Guy on the till said they take as many orders as possible to create revenue and nothing they can do ‘ it’s economics ‘ If you can get decent sushi elsewhere I would ! I won’t ever come back that’s for sure , look in photo not exactly busy
Ordered as a special anniversary treat as we didn’t want to venture out to restaurants just yet. The food was delivered by Deliveroo on time and with care. All I had to do was plate it up. It was delicious, beautifully presented and the entire family was impressed. Thanks so much for helping make a memorable evening! Highly recommended!
Sashimi consisted of thin, irregular pieces hacked roughly off a salmon that didn't taste too fresh. Inside out rolls falling apart. We used to get takeaways from here regularly but sadly we'll be moving on unless we hear they get better qualified and trained staff. Not what it was. Réservez une table maintenant
Richmond Atariya Japanese supermarket was once a pride to own but not now they are the worst. Those indian staffs need to be train before handling raw fish and sushi. Absolutely rubbish. I won't be putting my foot there anymore. Avoid if I were you.
Delivered lower grade tuna than paid for. Pick up often not ready for pick up time with different clients complaining every week . Staff do not care. Chef with face mask not covering mouth and nose during Tier 4 of pandemic .
Usually excellent, but there must be a new chef as the quality has unfortunately plummeted. Rice starchy and mushy, sushi poorly presented and falling apart, and fish slices small. Hopefully the old chefs return soon...
Tried all the sushi restaurants in Finchley at least once. Liked my take-away from Atari-Ya the best. They charge less for what seems to me better quality. Fatty Tuna well worth trying. Réservez une table maintenant
Someone told me this was the best sushi in town and was not joking. Love the sushi here, only thing is they dont open late. But we tried twice and always amazing.
